About the Role:
ME+EM is looking for a Senior Store Merchandiser to plan and trade a multi-product offer by developing effective merchandise and range plans to shape the strategy of ME+EM stores and concessions, trade in season to maximize performance and capitalize on opportunities. Utilize regional nuances to plan and trade within differing markets across different channels. Work cross-functionally to deliver financial KPIs in line with company strategy across an omni-channel portfolio. Develop and implement option planning for all stores globally, creating a robust grading and clustering framework. Utilize seasonal planning sales and space to align with product planning and company strategy. Using this framework, constantly measure the performance of stores within their grade/cluster and reappoint where required. Be responsible for the stock flow in and out of stores in line with store capacities - both front and back of house. Lead your team in the production of clear relevant and regular weekly and seasonal reporting to all stakeholders. Be a positive and motivating team leader who develops and manages a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute effective merchandise and range plans to drive sales and profitability.
* Utilize regional insights to tailor planning and trading strategies across different markets.
* Lead option planning, store grading, and clustering to ensure the right product mix and stock flow.
* Work cross-functionally with Buying, VM, Retail, and Logistics to optimize in-season trading and financial performance.
* Monitor and adjust markdown strategies, stock forecasts, and allocations to maximize sell-through and minimize risk.
* Provide clear, data-driven reporting on trade performance and market trends to inform future planning.
* Act as the link between Head Office and Retail, ensuring stores are supported with commercial insights and strategies.
* Keep ahead of competitor performance and market trends, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a goal-oriented and commercial mindset.
Skills:
* Strong merchandising experience within a multi-product retail environment.
* Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
