Brook Street are delighted to be supporting our Public Sector client in their search for x2 Part time Expense Administrators based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The role will support the Senior Expense Administrator in the delivery of all expense processing activities. The role is responsible for supporting Homes England to ensure that all colleagues expense claims are audited effectively and in a timely manner whilst in accordance with Homes England Travel & Expense Policy and HMRC guidance.
Role specifics:
Role -Part time, up to 21 hours per week
Monday to Friday, flexible between 9am to 5pm
Location - Newcastle city centre - Fully office based
Start date - 28th April, subject to change
Duration - 3 months
Pay rate - £12.36
Key Responsibilities:
Expense processing: processing high volume of expense transactions within agreed Service Level Agreement adhering to Homes England Travel and Expenses Policy. Ensuring attention to detail and maintaining high levels of accuracy to ensure consistency.
Advisory role: Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on all expense claims.
Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with other departments to maintain the highest level of service.
Support: Assist the Senior Expense Administrator with training and workshops to educate new and existing employees on expense policies and procedures as needed.
Process improvement: Participate in activities and discussions to implement new processes or continually improve established procedures.
Data preparation: Assist with preparation of data to support reporting requirements and internal dashboards.
