We are looking for a Video Producer to join our team at Bauer Media Audio in London.
Reporting into the Head of Video, you will be an experienced Video Producer with an excellent knowledge of all aspects of video production, a strong shooter with a huge passion for post. You must understand our audio brands and who we are targeting on social, as well as a strong knowledge of entertainment culture and music artists.
You’re an extremely deft editor, highly experienced in the Adobe Suite and you know all the shortcuts! You’re a strong creative, with a sharp eye for detail who excels in bringing video concepts to life, collaborating with our social team to create, deliver and optimise compelling entertainment video content across social platforms. You understand how to deliver video content for social, and the content variations required between each social platform.
The will be an office-based position in London with occasional weekend work when required.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Working with the Head of Video & Digital Editors to implement and maintain brand style for all video ideation and creation.
2. Identifying and implementing improvements in the video editing process
3. Producing content for our audio brand audiences, with strategic angles for each social platform
4. Keeping up to date with the latest social media video editing trends
5. Editing short- and long-form videos for audio brand social accounts and YouTube Channel
6. Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop ideas and concepts.
7. Implementing creative notes from stakeholders
8. Project managing and directing video content creation in studio and on location.
9. Delivering content that is accurate, on-brand, up-to-date and appealing to the audience.
10. Devising and implementing video distribution/seeding plans to ensure maximum reach.
11. Managing video kit including lighting – ensure all kit is up to date and report any faults.
12. You will work directly with our teams on digital best practice, creating exciting graphics, compelling edits, thumbnails that pop, repeatable formats and content that drives engagement, subscriptions and followers
13. If required, you can take the role of director or producer and ensure video content is of the highest quality and delivered to deadline
14. Working with Social Teams to identify online trends and personalities, including emerging memes and cultural conversations
What you’ll bring:
15. Sound knowledge of camera, sound & lighting
16. Previous solid experience in editing and shooting, combined with an excellent understanding of all social media platforms, from a video POV
17. Significant experience using Adobe Premiere.
18. Ability to work with multi-track split audio
19. Knowledge of aspect ratios
20. Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications
21. Understanding of video encoding formats
22. Talent for sound design
23. Strong project management skills
24. Analytical thinker with the ability to translate performance data and audience insights into developing video formats.
25. An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate best practices.
26. Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results.
27. Clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behaviour.
28. Sound editorial judgment with a passion for storytelling
29. Thorough and pay attention to detail.
30. The ability to work well with others and direct presenting and guest talent.
31. Flexible and open to change.
32. Comfortable using Mac
33. Storyboarding and scripting.
34. Awareness of media law and Ofcom compliance.
35. Awareness of Health and Safety requirements on shoots.
36. General graphic and 3D skills highly advantageous including Photoshop and After Effects.
37. Photography skills.
38. Pro-active, committed, quick thinking and able to work calmly under pressure.
39. A team player at every level, and able to work with stakeholders to see a project through to completion.
40. You have a healthy obsession with analytics and a demonstrated understanding of how to create content that will cut through on all platforms; with a focus on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. Growing and engaging audiences on each is paramount.
