What is the Role: Customer Treasury Services (CTS) UK is responsible for the distribution of Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Trade Finance and Interest Rate Derivative products to our UK customers.
We build trusted customer relationships through proactive engagement to share insights and knowledge about Treasury Markets that helps our customers to make value add decisions.
A trainee position has opened and we are looking for someone who can help us deliver a first class Treasury service to our internal and external customers.
The successful applicant will need to display excellent attention to detail, strong communication, priority setting, teamwork & collaboration skills.
Why would someone want to join your team? Key accountabilities; Executing customer orders by accurately interpreting and keying customer instructions, processing in a timely manner and adhering to procedure and regulation.
Accountable for assigned job roles to ensure tasks are completed in line with agreed procedures and time frames.
Support team colleagues and be dynamic in ability to cover multiple roles as required.
Escalate any issues without delay to line management.
Manage relationships internally and externally.
Take personal responsibility for the learning and development of roles with a focus on actively increasing knowledge and expertise.
Contribute to the team objectives and take an active role in participating in the wider team priority demands, where required.
Support a strong team culture consistent with AIB'S Values & Behaviours Supporting AIBs strategic focus on putting customers first, Greening the Loan Book and Operational Efficiency.

Team player who is engaged and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and manage competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Agile and flexible with regard to learning and moving around various roles within the team.
Strong Computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
Prior treasury experience an advantage, but not essential.
