Teaching Assistant responsibilities: Supporting identified students on a 1:1 basis or in small classrooms/hub provision Building relationships with the pupils to keep them motivated and raise attainment Build a rapport with the pupils and liaise between teaching staff and the pupils In the past we have found that people from various backgrounds have been well suited to this type of role due to the individual requirements of the pupils; Sports Graduates/Coaches, Psychology Graduates, Education Studies Graduates, Art/Drama Graduates and Core subject graduates have all been successful in these roles previously.
