An inclusive and supportive school in Uxbridge is seeking an empathetic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students with autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and other learning challenges access the curriculum and build confidence.
The Role

Work closely with individual students to provide tailored learning support
*
Implement strategies recommended by SENCOs, speech therapists, and educational psychologists
*
Assist with personal care or mobility if required, depending on the student’s needs
*
Help create a nurturing and structured environment to aid learning and independence
Requirements
*
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
*
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
*
Understanding of EHCPs and strategies for supporting neurodiverse learners
*
A passion for inclusion and student-centered support
