About the role The Facilities Manager will report to the Global Head of Facilities and Health and Safety and is responsible for the seamless day to day operational running of the London Magic Office while assisting with some of the Facilities needs of UK & EMEA retail and opportunity to expand beyond this. To lead the team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Work alongside stakeholders, colleagues and supply partners to build relationships and develop a one team approach. You will have line management responsibility for the wider Facilities and Reception team. This role will require working on site in the London Magic Office 4 days a week with 1 day working remotely but the understanding that you may need to be flexible on this when extra support is required on site. As our Facilities Manager you will Maintenance Oversee reactive and planned maintenance, liaise with employees and third parties, introduce new systems, and manage reporting and budgets. Compliance Ensure statutory maintenance compliance, maintain records, and manage health & safety across relevant sites. Utilities Maintain a global list of utility providers, produce accurate reports, manage contracts for new and existing sites, and support ESG initiatives. Health & Safety Identify and manage risk areas, act as the competent person for all health and safety matters for London Magic Office, and liaise with external providers. Budgets Approve invoices, manage spending, and produce annual budget for London Magic Office in collaboration with the operations team. Stakeholder Management First point of contact for employees, landlord and building management team on day to day issues in London Magic Office maintaining a good relationship and clear communication with all Space & Project Management Manage all aspects of space planning and refit projects, regularly assessing workplace needs alongside growth. Retail Collaboration Support retail facilities needs, working closely with the Retail Ops teams across UK and EMEA with potential to grow. Key Selection Criteria: Extensive experience in facilities management, workplace services, property management, or office management within the UK/EMEA – additional experience in retail environments highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, lighting controls, plumbing, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial forecasting. Strong track record in managing vendor and contractor relationships effectively. Excellent communication skills, able to engage clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels. Proven management and leadership skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach. Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Who you will work with Global Head of Facilities and Health & Safety Facilities & Global EHS Manager Accreditations Certified in a recognised body covering occupational H&S, C&G, NEBOSH, IOSH etc. Accredited to at least Associate Level with IWFM or willing to work towards it.
