Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well-established Higher Education organisation who require a Senior Integration Developer on a full time position. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and document system requirements to align with business needs. Design, develop, and maintain systems, ensuring security and efficiency. Support and manage the Enterprise Integration Platform (Boomi). Provide user guidance and technical support. Oversee system performance and reliability. Mentor team members and coordinate external collaborations. Ensure compliance with regulations and university policies. Stay updated on new technologies and best practices. Dimensions Manage 20-30 integrations and lead major projects. Support 10,000 staff, 40,000 students, and 50,000 applicants. Engage with 200 departments and 30 colleges/research institutes. Knowledge/Qualifications Essential: Relevant experience or degree (SCQF 9-11) in a related field. Expertise in enterprise integration, middleware, and data integration (JMS, SOAP/REST, databases). Strong knowledge of SOA, web services (XML, JSON, HTTP), and infrastructure technologies (storage, virtualization, networking). Agile methodology experience (SCRUM, story estimation). Desirable: Understanding of FOI and DPA regulations. SQL, data modeling, and relational database experience (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle). Proficiency in Java, Groovy, JavaScript. Experience with Boomi integration. Experience System design, requirements analysis, and technical documentation. Development of complex integration solutions. Collaboration in Agile teams, workload planning, and task delegation. Experience with integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plus.
