We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our clients dynamic MSP team If you thrive on solving complex IT issues and enjoy working with a variety of clients, this could be the perfect role for you. My client are a leader in the IT Managed Services space and are always on the hunt for talent individuals with a hunger to learn and progress and a passion for IT and Tech. Key Responsibilities: - Provide top-notch customer service by resolving technical issues.- Work with 1st and 2nd line teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.- Log and track support requests with clear, detailed notes.- Update client documentation and user guides.- Perform system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.- Assist with on-site projects like hardware refreshes and infrastructure setup.- 3 years of IT experience, preferably in an MSP at 2nd line or higher.- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.- Good time management and documentation skills. Key Skills: - MSP Experience - Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016, 2019 & 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure AD/Entra ID- Office 365 and Exchange experience (2016 & 2019)- Advanced in managing and troubleshooting VoIP Systems - Virtualization experience (Hyper-V, VMware)- Understanding of Networking - working with Routers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and general support and troubleshooting. - Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and WAN/LAN Tech- Previous experience with Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and PowerShell scripting is a bonus - Driving Licence and Car (Essential) Location: Frome Work Pattern: Monday to Friday Salary: £35k - £48k DOE If you have the relevant skills above and want to join a growing and market leading MSP in the Frome area that can offer you further career development opportunities, training, hybrid working and a competitive contract package, we want to hear from you This is an urgent role that needs filling asap so apply now
