If you do not have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), the school will pay for you to study and support you every step of the way Responsibilities To liaise with senior staff on arrival for duty in order to be made aware of any on- going/outstanding issues i.e. medical, behavioural, building etc. To supervise young people during the hours of sleep To perform routine cleaning tasks ensuring that the home is always well presented To become fully conversant with the home’s philosophy and policies. To respect and maintain the confidential nature of the work.
