About the Role
As the Head of Employer Marketing, you will:
* Define, develop, and deliver the marketing strategy to achieve Royal London’s employer acquisition and scheme retention objectives in the UK workplace market.
* Lead UK Marketing’s contribution to trading activity in the UK employer market, collaborating with Brand & Marketing (B&M) colleagues, UK Customer Lifestage Directors (CLDs), Proposition teams, and the Distribution Leadership Team.
* Provide marketing direction into the UK business, using data to demonstrate and articulate the effectiveness of B&M’s contribution to the business plan.
* Lead UK Marketing’s input as part of the UK Bid Team’s response to new workplace scheme bid and pitch opportunities.
* Maintain deep audience knowledge to bring insights around employer engagement opportunities into Royal London and ensure the audience view is embedded in all marketing activity.
* Shape and deliver the employer/employee communications proposition using data and insights to deliver ongoing, personalised engagement.
* Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals, acting as an advocate and champion of marketing within the UK business.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Significant experience leading the development and delivery of marketing plans across different audiences (including B2B).
* Advanced understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Experience working in and understanding the financial services industry and the legislative and regulatory framework.
* Significant experience of marketing planning and development.
* Excellent knowledge of Royal London products/propositions.
* Collaborative with excellent stakeholder management.
* Analytical and highly numerate.
* Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally.
* Significant experience providing functional and leadership input to change programmes and embedding change within the area
