Monkey Puzzle Horsham is a new nursery, recently opened in Roffey.
We are seeking a deputy manager to join our growing staff team, where, working alongside our nursery manager and drawing on your strengths you can be part of the development of the new nursery in Horsham!
This role is ideal for someone with room leader experience wishing to further their career in leadership!

Role requirements:
* You are able to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
* You are able to implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development
* You will be room leader and be able to support all nursery staff in their roles, leading them to deliver outstanding childcare
* You are a strong communicator with both adults and children
* You are able to work well within a team
* You recognise when to report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services
* You are able to work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive
* You always maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors
* You are creative and inspire learning as well as great at planning and organising
* You have a willingness to learn
Essentials:
* Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Paediatric First Aid
* Safeguarding & child protection awareness and training
* Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a Third-in-Charge/Room Leader
