An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and conscientious Remedial Engineer to join a growing team in Halesowen, West Midlands. Due to an increasing workload, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about Legionella remediation and plumbing. Remedial Engineer Responsibilities
As a Remedial Engineer, your primary duties will include:
1. Working closely with customers to carry out a range of remediation and plumbing tasks.
2. Addressing Legionella-related remedial work based on internal and external reports.
3. Installing new hot water cylinders in compliance with G3 regulations.
4. Identifying upselling opportunities through risk assessment reports, such as Legionella Management Plans, Monthly Monitoring Programmes, and additional services.
5. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and procedural regulations.
6. Assisting in the training and development of junior team members.
7. Participating in quality control processes to maintain industry standards.
8. Completing and signing off all necessary paperwork to meet legislative, licensable, and financial requirements.
Remedial Engineer Qualifications and Skills
To be successful as a Remedial Engineer, you will need to demonstrate:
1. A full, valid driving license.
2. At least 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C or above).
3. A minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing or Legionella work.
4. Relevant plumbing qualifications, including G3 Vented & Unvented, and Water Regulations.
5. Strong computer skills and experience producing reports that meet current regulations.
6. A good understanding of health and safety related to Legionella.
7. A positive attitude, ambition, and excellent customer service skills.
