As the Head of Mobilisation and Transition, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we make the right first impressions with new clients. You will ensure the seamless mobilisation and transition of new clients into business-as-usual operations. This involves overseeing the end-to-end mobilisation process, from contract award to full operational delivery, while ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded throughout.
The role combines leadership of the mobilisation team, with a strong focus on solution design and process improvement, working closely with business-wide stakeholders to ensure new clients experience a best-in-class operation from the outset. The position is pivotal in ensuring high client satisfaction, streamlining operational processes, and identifying opportunities for innovation, all while managing complex, multi-site mobilisations and contributing to the company’s overall success.

And as a Head of Mobilisation and Transition with Bellrock, you’ll do it by
Mobilisation and Transition:
* Client Onboarding and Mobilisation:
Lead the end-to-end process of mobilising new clients, ensuring seamless integration into operational teams and service structures. Manage the handover from the project phase to business-as-usual operations, making sure that all initial setup requirements, SLAs, and KPIs are met.
* Transition to Business-As-Usual (BAU):
Oversee the smooth and efficient transition of new clients into BAU operations, ensuring that all operational processes, procedures, and performance metrics have been correctly embedded and align with client expectations and contractual commitments.
* Project Management:
Lead the project management of mobilisation and transition initiatives, from initial design to completion, ensuring that timelines, resources, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to.
* Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and manage the mobilisation and transition team, ensuring a high level of performance, engagement, and professional development. Actively participate in recruitment and talent development initiatives.
* Resource Allocation and Coordination:
Ensure that all necessary resourceswhether workforce, equipment, or technologyare allocated and mobilised effectively for each new client, both during the transition and for the ongoing delivery of services.
* Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients during the transition phase, acting as a senior point of contact for escalations and providing consistent updates on progress. Ensure a smooth handover to the operational teams after the transition to BAU.
* Continuous Improvement:
Drive ongoing improvement initiatives to streamline mobilisation and transition processes, ensuring faster, more efficient, and higher-quality outcomes for both clients and the business.
* Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify risks and issues during mobilisation and transition, developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure service continuity.
Business Development and Solution Design:
* Business Development Support:
Collaborate closely with the sales and commercial teams to support new business opportunities, providing advice, insights, and mobilisation-related input to support growth activities.
* Solution Design:
Work with the sales, bid, and commercial teams to create tailored solutions for new clients, ensuring that our service offerings are aligned with client needs, expectations, and budgetary constraints. This includes identifying areas for innovation and value-added services.
* Proposal Development:
Assist in the preparation of proposals for new business, specifically around mobilisation and transition phases. Ensure that proposals accurately reflect the client's needs and articulate the mobilisation and transition process clearly.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as the Head of Mobilisation and Transition, you’ll need
* Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, IT/Technology, engineering, or a related field.
* A minimum of 7 years’ experience within facilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role focused on mobilisation & transition.
* Demonstrable project management experience, including experience in leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders across different functions.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies. PRINCE2® Practitioner preferrable, with PMP®, APM (PMQ/PPQ), Praxis Practitioner, Agile Practitioner or other accreditation of equal standing also considered.
* Membership (MIWFM or above) of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management is desirable.
Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Leicester office and working two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
