About us and the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative person to join our Central England Trading Standards (CEnTSA) Regional Intelligence Team. The team is crucial in using intelligence to help keep consumers safe and target those individuals and business operators who exploit our citizens or place them at risk.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility to provide responsive, efficient, and effective intelligence, research, and administrative support to the Regional Intelligence Function and to support the Regional Intelligence Analyst. You will promote the regional application of the National Trading Standards’ Intelligence Operating Model (IOM), supporting intelligence-led working across the region to improve outcomes for services. In addition, you will have a lead role in researching, creating, developing, evaluating, and sharing intelligence, contributing towards assessments of regional threat, risk, and harm, and informing strategic and tactical decision-making across the CEnTSA region.

Additional Information
The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
An NPPV check is required for individuals who are to be appointed due to frequent and uncontrolled access to government assets.
