£29,700 - £31,000 includes the night shift enhancement.
Hours: 7:45 PM - 8:15 AM, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Average 43.75 hours per week)

About the Role
Join our dedicated team as a Senior Night Support Worker and make a significant impact on the lives of young adults with disabilities, including Autism. This role is based in a Residential College for Younger Adults with social, emotional, and mental health needs, supporting them as they transition into adulthood, further education, employment, or training.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Support the Night Team Manager and act as a deputy in their absence, overseeing the team of Support Workers to create a stable, safe, and nurturing environment.
* Flexible Support: Work directly with young adults, including covering absenteeism, and support both on-site and off-site activities.
* High-Quality Care: Ensure that all residents receive excellent care and live in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, personalizing their spaces to meet individual needs.
* Health and Safety: Prioritize the health and well-being of the young adults at all times.
* Shift Management: Take responsibility for staffing decisions and allocations during shifts in the absence of the Night Team Manager.
* Supervision and Performance: Conduct regular supervisions, support formal performance reviews, and ensure Keyworker responsibilities are fulfilled.
* Team Meetings: Lead monthly team meetings to ensure consistent communication and team development.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support the development and well-being plans of the young adults.
Essential Criteria
* Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children or Adults.
* Experience working with younger adults aged 16-25 years.
* Preferably, experience within an educational special needs setting.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and deprivation of liberties.
* Proven experience managing challenging behaviors.
* Ability to build positive and enabling relationships with students.
