Job Title: Product Delivery Lead - Global Digital Academy
Location: Any UK BAE Systems site, with ability to travel to Preston regularly. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £50,000 to £52,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. Act as a coach and mentor to the team, promoting a strong understanding and practice of agile principles (Scrum, KanBan, Lean) to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise digital skills product delivery and ensure alignment with business objectives, manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency of delivery progress.
3. Ensure products are delivered effectively and efficiently by understanding requirements, priorities, and guiding cross-functional teams.
4. Work collaboratively with the Product Manager to embed best practices and advance the delivery vision through an agile approach.
5. Facilitate agile events and practices, remove barriers to progress, ensuring timely and successful delivery of digital skills products by cross-functional teams.
6. Oversee the timely and successful delivery of product milestones and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for process improvement.
7. Act as the agile coach, helping individuals and teams adopt and embrace an agile mindset fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for teams to thrive.
8. Develop your own skills and knowledge while shaping the agile mindset of the team to create a sense of community.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Knowledge of digital skills, technologies, trends, and best practices.
2. A deep knowledge and understanding of various agile tools, techniques, and frameworks.
3. Experience and deep understanding of agile delivery under Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks (Lean, SAFe).
4. Proficiency with product tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
5. Scrum Master Certification preferred (CSM, PSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM, SSM).
