Project Officer (Office Based Role) - £26,000 to £30,000 Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The role will be worked in our Cheadle Office. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience. As a Project Officer, you will play an integral role in the Project Management Office department with responsibility including standardising and improving project management practices within Human Appeal, and contributing to key responsibilities in project coordination, monitoring, and supporting the PMO team. In addition, providing organisational, logistical, and operational support to ensure the smooth delivery of Human Appeal’s major projects and campaigns. Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry within project management tools and systems, safeguarding the integrity of all project-related information. Attend and in some cases lead project-related meetings and produce comprehensive, professional meeting minutes, capturing critical discussions and actionable points. Compile, analyse, and distribute detailed project status reports, ensuring stakeholders remain informed about project progress and any emerging challenges. Actively monitor and identify project risks and issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely escalation and resolution. Exhibit advanced proficiency and frequent use of project management software/tools to update, track, and manage project data effectively. Proactively monitor project tasks and milestones, ensuring deadlines are met and contributing to enhanced project delivery efficiency and success.
