Superstar Supply are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional needs, in our local partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support, helping children to engage with classroom activities.
* Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring additional assistance, adapting learning materials as necessary.
* Assist the classroom teacher in preparing differentiated resources and lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
* Monitor the progress of students with SEN and additional needs, providing feedback to teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents/guardians.
* Promote independence and confidence in children through positive reinforcement and appropriate interventions.
* Assist with the care and supervision of students throughout the school day.
About you:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN and additional needs, is essential.
* Have a strong understanding of various SEN conditions (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) and appropriate support strategies.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff alike.
* Be able to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Have patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
Qualifications:
* GCSE Grade 5 (C) in Maths and English, or equivalent.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or Education (e.g., NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) - Desirable.
