We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.
Job Advert Location Description
The Old Vicarage is located close to Dewsbury town. It offers residential support for seven adult males and females with a range of needs. This includes adults with a learning disability, individuals with mental health needs, and people on the autism spectrum.
As Housekeeper. you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations. Cleanliness and hygiene is a vital part of any CQC inspection, therefore the role of housekeeper is a key support service of the site.
The role offers flexible working hours, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new role that works around their needs.
Your duties will include:
Planning & organising cleaning rotas
Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
Reporting any maintenance issues (damages, faults) to management teams
Organising and assist with laundry duties and rotas
Assisting with ordering of cleaning supplies
Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations
Attending all mandatory training to gain appropriate understanding of the work setting, service users and safeguarding information.

You are an enthusiastic individual who truly takes pride in their work. You have gained previous experience in housekeeping, and you have a good understanding of COSHH regulations.
The service you provides meets excellent standards thanks to your great attention to detail, and you strive to put service quality first.
You are committed to develop in the role, and open to attend any mandatory training required.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be ideal but is not essential, and we will provide you with the necessary support to succeed in your role.
