Position: Assistant Manager
Wendy’s is hiring an Assistant Manager to join their team.

As an Assistant Manager of Wendy’s, you will:
1. Manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager.
2. Focus on staffing, training, and scheduling to build and retain a 5-star team.
3. Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development.
4. Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is in the right place at the right time.
5. Be the face of the restaurant to new hires and crew members.
6. Increase store sales and profit goals.
7. Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House.
8. Support local marketing opportunities to drive sales and enhance the presence of your restaurant in the local area.
9. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
10. Help build a passionate, engaged team that provides a great guest experience and supports future new site openings.
What you bring to the table:
1. Experience leading people, preferably in a food service environment.
2. 1 year of line operations experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
3. 1 year of management experience.
4. Flexibility to work 44-hour work weeks, available all-day parts and days of the week.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Manage and supervise Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.
2. Support the General Manager in overseeing all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure adherence to Company standards.
3. Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identify training needs and capability gaps within the team.
4. Ensure compliance with all audit requirements, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO, and Financial Audits.
5. Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards business objectives.
6. Support the manager in controlling costs without compromising standards and the Wendy’s guest experience through weekly and daily line checks.
7. Work in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times.
8. Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and promote a positive safety culture throughout the business.
You’re willing and able to:
1. Travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
