About the team:
Within the Investment Banking Division of Société Générale, the Advisory & Financing Group serves Corporates (mid to large caps), Sponsors (PEs, Infrastructure funds), Family offices, and Financial institutions across sectors, geographies, and rating spectrum.
We act as a trusted Corporate Finance Debt partner to support our clients’ sustainable and digital journey. As Underwriter, we structure responsible financing solutions and ensure certainty of funds for strategic projects, such as acquisitions, spin-offs, IPOs, restructurings, etc.
As Financial advisor, we offer capital structure & debt advisory across the rating spectrum and access to the relevant pool of investors within the equity and debt capital markets.
As Credit & ESG Rating Advisor, we offer unparalleled understanding of agencies and access to their analysts to explain the credit story.
With offices in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York, our group is a leader in strategic and acquisition finance and a global rating advisory franchise.
As a driving force of innovation within Société Générale, we are at the digital edge, developing digital solutions (for example, the Advisory & Financing App on SG Markets platform).
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to providing integrated debt structuring, capital structure, rating advisory, acquisition & strategic finance, and market access solutions to key clients of the Bank, in close connection with coverage and corporate finance teams.
* Contribute to originating and executing strategic & acquisition finance and/or rating advisory mandates on all aspects (marketing materials, credit process including ESG analysis, legal document negotiation), in accordance with SG and AFG policies and guidelines.
* Produce reliable modelling materials, client pitches, and analysis documents supporting internal credit processes.
* Be abreast of key market trends, including economic/regulatory developments, dynamics of different industries, as well as new rating methodologies, including ESG-related topics.
* Provide guidance, support, and training to more junior staff.

* Demonstrate the highest standards of conduct and behaviour in meeting Group’s, Compliance's, and Business Lines’ policies and procedures, and when interacting with regulators, market counterparties, clients, and colleagues (including regulatory guidelines, mandatory training, data quality enhancement).
* Demonstrate adequate appropriation and continuous improvement on Culture & Conduct issues, through a sound environment encouraging speak-up and ethical decision-making, by identifying and managing conduct risks and incidents and systematically processing their root causes to prevent them in the future.
Profile required:
* Solid skills in debt and rating advisory and in corporate finance.
* Solid skills in the structuring of event-driven financing (acquisition, spin-off, IPO, etc.).
* Solid skills in credit risk assessment and rating agencies methodologies and sector views.
* Advanced proficiency in financial modelling.
* Good proficiency in legal documentation.
* Demonstrate rigor, adaptability, and openness.
* Solid soft skills.
* Innovative, proactive, driven by a positive digital mindset.
* Fluent in the English language.
