HR Business Partner We're currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks HR Team. This role will provide business partnering capability across our Severn Trent contract with a strong focus on providing an innovative, effective and customer focused service. Location : Coventry/Leicestershire (weekly site visits) when required Hours : 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Contract : Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities Responsibilities As a HR Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Supporting our Head of HR with managing the implementation of a commercially focused, legally compliant, people plan to support the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business strategy. Operating as a credible and trusted partner, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help each business area to deliver its strategy. Delivering people practices in a manner which is transparent and designed to develop and maintain a positive working relationship between the company and its people. Demonstrating an excellent understanding of the company, its strategy and customers, and the people challenges faced by the company. Acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches. Using data, metrics, and evidence to inform change, drive decision making and resolve and identify solutions to complex problems across business areas. What are we looking for? This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if you have: Degree qualified (or qualified by experience), high potential HR professional with experience of business partnering in medium/large organisations. Highly collaborative working style and effective communication skills (both written and verbal) Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong relationship skills, able to build influential relationships with a range of senior stakeholders. Delivery focused and pragmatic, able to flex solutions and approach to diverse audiences and business needs. Good understanding of talent management and succession planning, leadership, and management development, to support individual and business growth.
