Senior Social Worker - Mental Health Team - Ealing\n\nCandidates should be versed in delivering mental health and social care outcomes from structured interventions. Candidates will need to have experience in completing Care Act assessments, Safeguarding Adult S42.2 enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Social Circumstances Tribunal reports. A good knowledge on relevant legal frameworks, for example, the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005), Human Rights Act 1998, and Mental Health Act 1983 (2007) is essential.
Experience with the Court of Protection, Schedule 21A challenges will be considered in the recruitment process.\n\nCandidates are required to have robust assessment skills and be able to complete their interventions within the team timescales set out by the department. Approved Mental Health Professional qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful candidates will hold a complex caseload undertaking statutory duties within the mental health social work team,\n\nSuccessful candidates will have a solid understanding of the legal frameworks of the Care Act (2014),, the Mental Capacity Act 2005), the Mental Health Act1983 (2007) and the Human Rights Act(1998)-, can demonstrate professional curiosity, and an ability to work in a strength based way to ensure the best outcomes for residents Ealing with mental health needs.

In the role you will be acting as a Safeguarding Enquiry Officer, working closely with a Safeguarding Adults Manager to make enquiries, and manage risk, ensuring people’s individual safeguarding outcomes are met.\n\nDriving is desirable but not essential.
Candidates will be required to be in the borough 2 days per week
