We are currently looking for a new Completions Assistant to join our friendly Conveyancing team, based in Battle. The role is focused on Accounts and would suit someone with a background in cashier/finance/accounts.
The role is a full-time, permanent position. Fully office-based in Battle.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Dealing with Conveyancing files from exchange of contracts through to completion
* Using the Case Management System to process and progress cases
* Setting up and dealing with completions, inclusive of photocopying, scanning, faxing etc.
* Printing, filing and collating documentation in relation to contracts, leases and transfers
* Ensure all payments (BACS, Transfers, Cheques, Faster Payments) are set up correctly
* Create bills/statements for clients
* Ensure all authorised invoices are processed in a timely manner
* General administration and paperwork management
Experience Required:
Essential:
* Exceptional communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and colleagues
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise high volume workloads
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Experience handling client enquiries
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Conveyancing
* Knowledge of Accounts
* Knowledge of working within Legal Sector
* Knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules
