Site Administrator- Chester
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Johnsons Hotel Linen is a leading laundry and linen hire company, part of the Johnson Service Group.We are seeking a Site Administrator for our Chester depot to assist with HR and site administration. This is a varied role in which you will provide vital support to the site in a fast paced challenging environment.
Site Administrator duties will include:
Manage time and attendance system, including run clocking reports for weekly staff
Managing onboarding procedure, including supporting the site with new starters this will include printing induction packs, contracts and inputting the data on to the relevant systems. Provision of welcome pack and uniform as applicable.
Prepare weekly and monthly returns for salaried employees in conjunction with GM.
Collate absence data for action by managers by updating the HR System and Bradford Factor scores.
Track right to work checks on new and existing employees.
Ensure all spread sheets and systems are accurate and up to date with the relevant information, including all trackers e.g. RTW, exit interviews, probation periods etc.
Ensure all personnel files and filing in general are kept up to date.
Prepare invite letters for disciplinary, grievance and welfare meetings, liaising with the Regional HR Advisor.
Conduct any necessary audits as and when required.
Drive annual training reminders and paperwork with line managers and by utilising T100.
Support the site with the recruitment process this will include job adverts, attending job fairs, arranging interviews and necessary paperwork.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, including engagement activities and chair engagement focus groups.
Administration of holiday records for weekly and monthly staff.
Take minutes of on-site meetings and distribute accordingly.
Ensure all noticeboards display relevant and current information
Ideally (but not essentially) from a manufacturing, logistics or production environment, you will be able to demonstrate: -
A strong administration background;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
An ability to work to tight deadlines with a focus on attention to detail;
A good team ethic;
High levels of accuracy and diligence.
