About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a group of primary schools in the Scarborough area. We need flexible and committed Teaching Assistants to support classes across EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), KS1, and KS2. As a Learning Support Assistant, your duties will include:
* Providing 1:1 support to pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
* Assisting pupils who require extra help to engage with the curriculum and feel settled in the classroom.
* Supporting the class teacher with preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
* Managing and supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour, with a nurturing and patient approach.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you ideally have:
* Qualifications: At least 5 GCSEs (grades A* - C), including English and Maths.
* Experience: Previous experience working or volunteering in an educational or childcare setting.
* Personality Traits: A confident, outgoing, and nurturing nature.
* Passion for Education: A strong desire to support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils.
