Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will independently perform and report on a variety of specialised cardiac ultrasound investigations, including transthoracic, contrast, bubble study, 3D, Dobutamine, and exercise stress echocardiograms. You will also assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms. Your role will involve providing technical expertise in echocardiography, supporting specialist echo techniques, and participating in invasive procedures requiring echo support. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in training and assessing junior staff, contributing to the development and delivery of training plans. Weekend working may be required to support the provision of seven-day diagnostic services. Qualifications and Experience: • Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent (e.g., OTEC/ONC in MPPM) • British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) accreditation or equivalent • Registration with the RCCP or equivalent • Proficiency in performing and reporting a range of specialized echocardiograms (e.g., transthoracic, contrast, bubble study, 3D, Dobutamine, exercise stress, and transoesophageal echocardiograms) • Experience in training and assessing junior staff • Strong technical expertise in echocardiography and invasive procedures requiring echo support • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to work weekends to support seven-day diagnostic services Why work with Pulse?
