Job summary The successful candidate will work with all staff, across both community hospital and community-based settings, to deliver safeguarding adults' complex case work. They will have excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills to lead on monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of training, data collation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. They will carry out training on topics relevant to the safeguarding adults' agenda including the Mental Capacity Act (2005), Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2007), Care Act (2014) and Prevent (2015). In addition, they will also possess excellent skills to support the detailed analysis of adult safeguarding concerns, information gathering, and writing health enquiry reports. Have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of roles and responsibilities within the health and social care environment is paramount, and when required they will participate in joint working with key stakeholders such as patients/clients using services and statutory and voluntary organisations within the area.
