This team plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our manufactured products by prioritising the most critical aspects of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. They ensure these key elements are meticulously monitored and upheld throughout the production process. The value assignment team is responsible for determining the importance and priority of various product characteristics and processes in terms of quality. This involves assessing which features or potential defects are crucial for ensuring the final product meets the required specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory standards. Location: Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL (Onsite) Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours / Shifts: 4pm to 4am, Tuesday to Thursday. Flexibility needed. The Role: Performing various analytical procedures. Following quality control and standard operating procedures. Testing in-process formulation samples as required by manufacturing departments Performing functional QC testing including level checks, precision, homogeneity and stability testing Analysis of external quality assessment (EQA) samples Assist in the training of new staff in established quality control processes. Assist with value assignment duties as directed by serum QC managers Operating various automated clinical chemistry analysers to generate reliable analytical data. Accurately maintaining quality control records. Preparing and processing analytical data for the production of serum value sheets. Troubleshooting of internal and customer queries related to functional QC in conjunction with the Technical Support Department. Performing routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments within the laboratory. The Candidate: Essential: Qualified to at least Bachelor's standard in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a Life Science discipline. Excellent communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess initiative and the ability to work as part of a team. Computer literate. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Desirable: Analytical experience.
