What we are looking for: A Clinical Digital person looking to develop further in their role. This role leads on new ways of working using digital and informatics technologies. Transforming care delivery and developing the use of Clinical Informatics. This is open to senior nurses, midwives, or AHPs.
Do you currently work in a digital/Informatics role, or do you have change and QI and service improvement experience which you want to use as a Change Agent improving clinical practice and patient outcomes?
Especially interested in people with experience of Cerner EPR implementation and optimisation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide sound clinical advice and guidance, working collaboratively with the Chief Nursing, Midwifery & AHP Information Officer, Digital Midwife, Digital Matron, Digital Clinical Educators, Nursing/AHP leaders and key stakeholders to ensure the appropriate, consistent, and successful use of integrated knowledge and information systems. They will also promote innovation and champion the development of a clinically appropriate information culture, as an enabler of change and quality improvement across the organisation. Therefore, you will need change management experience as well as significant clinical experience.
What we have to offer: The post holder will be instrumental in the optimisation of the EPR and the delivery of various digital projects to ensure safe services whilst also facilitating engagement with end users to enable adoption and sustainability of systems and new working practices.
As the Deputy CNIO you will work closely with the Chief Nursing, Midwifery & AHP Information Officer (CNIO) and CCIO to bring strategic and operational leadership to aspects of our Clinical Digital and Informatics programme. You will be responsible for ensuring the use of technologies reflect nursing, midwifery or AHP processes and support in the planning and delivery of digital systems across all areas of the Trust, enabling the collection and use of structured data.

Essential
* Minimum two years experience working clinically within an acute trust with a digital patient record.
* Able to evidence digital proficiency within a clinical setting.
* Experience of facilitating a digital patient record implementation as a core member of the project team, within an acute trust.
* Proven track record of teaching and assessing within a clinical setting.
* Evidence of senior Nurse leadership at Band 7 or above, in an acute NHS trust within the last 3 years.
Desirable
* Prior experience within an acute trust working in deputy CNIO role.
Qualifications
Essential
* Evidence of study applicable to Digital care.
* Project management qualification relevant to transformational change.
* Qualification relating to teaching and assessing within a clinical setting.
