As part of the Waste and Resource Recovery team you will work with a team of dedicated, innovative and award winning professionals who provide waste and recycling services, waste planning and promote waste avoidance and resource recovery within our City. About the role This position develops and implements education and promotional programs (in conjunction with Council’s waste collection and waste processing contractors) for residents, schools, community groups and Council staff relevant to domestic waste collection services, waste processing and disposal services and waste avoidance and resource recovery practices. Essential criteria • A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Education or related field • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Experience in the environmental, education, training or related industry • Experience in the preparation and production of education material • A current Class C Driver’s Licence Commencing salary: $90,063 per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation.
