The Operational Administrator will focus on ensuring timely and accurate administrative support for operations. Responsibilities include handling council complaints, managing CRM requests, monitoring crews, reviewing CCTV, and analysing data in Excel. It also involves collaborating with operational and admin teams to improve efficiency through data capture, web tools, and whitespace systems.
Your core responsibilities
* Council Instructions & Documentation – Process and return all Council instructions within set timeframes, ensuring proper filing and documentation.
* Communication & Administration – Handle calls, address daily administrative matters, and support both the Client and the Company.
* Crew Monitoring & Compliance – Oversee collections and crew activities via CCTV, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
* Complaint Handling & Reporting – Investigate complaints and provide well-documented, detailed reports.
* Data Management & Analysis – Maintain and analyse data, updating spreadsheets to support operational efficiency.
* General Administrative Support – Perform tasks such as filing, scanning, and issuing crew memos while assisting with day-to-day operations.
* Team & Service Coordination – Keep the Admin Manager and team updated on service issues and support business objectives.
* Professionalism & Compliance – Maintain respectful communication, uphold company procedures, and complete any reasonable requests to ensure smooth contract operations.
Our essential requirements
* Education & Experience – GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with prior office and administrative experience. Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) and familiarity with Whitespace and/or Contel systems (desirable)
* Technical Skills – Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities for data handling and analysis.
* Personal & Professional Skills – Excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to influence and persuade. Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage workload effectively.
* Work Ethic & Teamwork – Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively as a team player. Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and a drive for success.
