Job Description Industrial Water Treatment Scientist Water Testing and Reporting Our ideal candidate would live around the South Humber Bank area. We will consider areas such as Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Immingham, but also further south in Lincolnshire or north into Hull. The Industrial Water Treatment Scientist services, recommends changes, reports and communicates water treatment performance at customer sites, working with a predefined commercial agreement. You will be responsible for achieving defined goals and objectives as well as working safely, compliantly and efficiently at your customer sites. What are the Essential Responsibilities? EHS & Compliance Ensure you work in a safe manner at all times Complete Legionella sampling. Engagement in QEHS systems and documentation management. Ensure a full water service plan is completed monthly, quarterly and annually. Sampling and testing of industrial waters Consulting on the chemical treatment and basic technical concepts of the systems with customers Complete and submit Consultant Service Reports (CSRs) Raise issues with Ops Leader and Commercial colleagues if necessary. Participate in review meetings with customers, contributing from an operational and technical perspective. Good organisation and ability to schedule and plan your own site visits. Engaging with safe chemical delivery and storage procedures. Calibration of personal and on-site equipment, and generation of calibration certificates. Routine maintenance of technology and equipment. Operation of dosing pumps – changing dosing rates as required based on on-site test results Independently diagnosing issues found on-site and escalating or rectifying. Using digital data visualisation platform, InSight, to generate CSRs, manage trends and alarms, inventory stocks, add parameters and assets.
