Success Recruit are currently working with a locally based Insurance MGA, looking to recruit an Underwriting Operations Analyst. Ideally, the candidate will be strategically minded and have strong analytical and communication skills with experience in the Insurance sector to effectively support the underwriting process alongside the wider technical operations of the business. An excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being data-driven, enjoys and is able to take the lead in MI reporting, working closely with the MD and senior team members, professionally collaborating and communicating with stakeholders, underwriting teams, and both external and internal partnerships.
This role offers a hybrid working environment and the successful Underwriting Operations Analyst will want to be part of a growing business demonstrating an analytical and effective mindset delivering operational excellence as a team member.
Responsibilities:
* Effectively support the underwriting process and wider technical operations of the business.
* Produce Management Information with a view to enhancing and improving efficiencies.
* Positively collaborate alongside business colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
* Oversee, manage, and validate the end-to-end bordereaux validation, payment, and mapping process for the business.
* Provide and report on MI to influence business decisions towards achieving operational excellence through innovation and improvements.
* Build positive relationships supporting a high-quality professional service to the underwriting team, senior management, and stakeholders.
* Manage, improve, and maintain relationships with underwriting platform providers, implementing and identifying further opportunities through effective project management.
* Ensure compliance and regulations are met alongside providing excellent customer service standards.
* Deliver operational excellence through innovation and improvements.
* Deliver department KPI’s and SLA’s, striving to exceed expectations in line with company policy and standards of honesty, ambition, and delivery.
* Collaborate with other departments while delivering accurate reports, monitoring performance and trends, enabling confident business decisions.
* Manage, support, and nurture the performance and development of your direct reports, providing excellent coaching and mentorship in conjunction with HR representatives.
* Develop knowledge and understanding of the market alongside associated legal or technical changes.
* Contribute towards and align with agreed management strategies.
* Have excellent IT knowledge including Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.00 - hybrid flexibility with 3 days in the office.
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000 DOE.
