Business Development Placement
Job Purpose:
To support the Smart Mobility departments with various projects, including the Destination Charging Programme, purchasing support, E-Performance projects, E-Commerce projects, and additional tasks as required.
Core Responsibilities:
E-Performance + Smart Mobility
* Support the tracking and monitoring of the e-readiness project plan for the Porsche Network in line with Porsche AG business objectives.
* Research market trends for E-Mobility/Mobility and ensure key information is communicated to appropriate stakeholders within the organisation.
* Work with the Smart Mobility Manager on the rollout of the local Destination Charging project.
* Support the department in any E-Performance/Mobility related activities either in the office or off site.
Digitalisation and E-Commerce
* Provide support to the team in relation to strategic dealer and E-Commerce platform projects by analysing data, collecting market insight, and gathering feedback from dealers.
* Assist the E-Commerce department with reviewing data, processes, and engaging with German colleagues on process, translations, and issue resolution.
* Support the E-Commerce Manager with the management and continuous improvement of the Online Car Sales platform.
Dealer Support and Development
* Provide a support function to the network on digital platforms, resolving general queries, invoice queries, refunds, and other topics as required.
* Upload communications to PPN (Porsche Intranet) and monthly reporting to individual Porsche Centre reporting groups.
* Assist with the preparation of business presentations for Board Meetings, Network Briefings, Performance Updates, and other meetings on an ad hoc basis.
Business Operations
* Assist the department with internal processes of purchasing, invoicing, process compliance, and other duties to help the department be the benchmark in PCGB.
Core Accountabilities:
* Understand and assist in the delivery of business strategy and objectives.
* Take ownership of personal development needs in anticipation of business requirements.
* Contribute to the team, ensuring the right environment is maintained for team and individual development.
* Ensure the appropriate level of management control and system exploitation is applied in all relevant systems.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements for the Job and Person Specification:
Related Studies/Qualifications:
* Business-related degree.
* Basic accounting knowledge would be helpful.
* Required IT skills:
* Excellent level of PC literacy, including MS Office – especially MS Excel.
* Preferred language knowledge:
* Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
