Job Description: Mechanical Engineer/Welder Pipe Fitter's
Location: Norfolk
Contract Duration: Minimum 4 weeks (with potential for extension)
Working Hours:
1. Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (half-hour lunch break)
2. Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
3. Saturday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers/Welder Pipe Fitters to support a project in Norfolk. The contract will last a minimum of 4 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for mechanical operations.
5. Perform welding and fabrication work on piping structures.
6. Ensure all work is in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
7. Collaborate with the team to complete the project within the set timelines.
8. Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to execute tasks.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Welder Pipe Fitter and must have TIG welding ticket.
10. Competence in welding, cutting, and fitting pipes.
11. Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices.
12. Strong understanding of piping systems, mechanical operations, and tools.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
14. Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering, welding, or pipe fitting.
15. Experience working on large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
Pay:
16. Competitive hourly rates; up to £16.00 per hour (to be discussed based on experience)
