Main duties of the job You will need to be able to work autonomously as required, and have the credibility and confidence to deal with a range of staff across the organisation, including experience of working with trade union and staff representatives. You should possess strong, generalist HR experience, a business focus and a proven ability to provide a professional HR service in the delivery of advice and support including absence and sickness management, employee relations activity including disciplinary and grievance processes, TUPE, job evaluation, interpretation of policy and procedure and general HR queries. You will also be required to support change management; a working knowledge of current employment legislation is therefore essential. You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with recent human resources experience and be able to demonstrate evidence of Continuous Professional Development e.g. MCIPD.
