Job Overview
Providing first line technical fixes and logging customer requests received via telephone and email. Providing advice and support to customers and coordinating requests on behalf of customers with colleagues and external companies. Provide support to customers and Informatics Colleagues, performing service analysis and providing service statistics for management reporting, call management, asset management and covering the Service Desk.
Main duties of the job
To carry out these tasks in a timely manner to ensure maximum availability and usability of IT Systems. The post holder works within organisational and professional policies and procedures such as the Acceptable use of Informatics policy. Works on own initiative but will take advice from their line manager if required.
