Location: Nationwide MLL Telecom requires a highly motivated Field Engineer. The primary role would be working on new and existing projects, working across a range of Network Operators. You will need to have Microwave experience. Responsibilities: Completing site build & Integration, configuration, call testing and performance management tasks Perform RAN and core network management system validation including configuration, performance, and fault management, RAN profiles, and device management. Perform validation of key feature sets, peak and sustained throughput & latency validation, E2E performance optimization, and parameter configurations. Providing support to RAN Engineers on configuration or troubleshooting issues Communicate internally and externally to clients and teams Your areas of knowledge and expertise: To excel at this role you'll bring with you extensive 4G/LTE, 5G RAN & O-RAN testing experience, Solid working knowledge of 4/5G Radio Access Network technology, Extensive recent experience in RAN & O-RAN system integration, Strong end-to-end RAN knowledge with focus on 4/5G, RAN Technologies (vRAN, Small Cells, MIMO, Timing and Sync with GPS, PTP). Understanding of 3GPP standards, including procedures, call flows, KPI, statistics End-to-end testing, in all areas - IMS calls (eNodeB) Analysing and diagnosing main RF Issues like Dropped calls, Blocked calls, Handover Failures, Interference, RACH failures etc Good experience in analysing the Core Network elements issues. Working Knowledge or Testing Nokia and Ericsson RAN Working at height, tower rescue certified UK Driving license Analytical and open minded. A highly motivated problem solver.
