The Details:
Location - Whiteley, Hampshire (near Solent Hotel)
Hours - Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary - £25,000 - £31,000 per annum
Holiday - 29 days per year PLUS additional leave for late starts, early finishes, long lunches, appointments.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You'll be an integral part of the People & Culture team, taking ownership of the recruitment process ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a positive experience for both candidates and the hiring team. Your responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
Candidate Sourcing
* Identify potential candidates for companies within our group using various sourcing techniques, including online databases, job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and referrals.
* Build and maintain a talent pipeline by reaching out to passive candidates.
Screening and Pre-Qualification
* Conduct initial phone or video screenings to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for open roles.
* Verify candidate qualifications and ensure they meet the job requirements.
Database Management and Record Keeping
* Maintain and update candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
* Keep track of candidate status throughout the recruitment process, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Job Advertising and Promotion
* Write and post job ads on various job boards and social media platforms to attract candidates.
* Promote open positions across multiple channels to increase visibility.
Networking and Relationship Building
* Engage with potential candidates through various channels to build relationships for current and future hiring needs.
* Attend networking events, job fairs, and industry events to connect with potential candidates.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, candidate profiles, and timelines.
Administrative Support
* Coordinate interviews and follow-up processes, including scheduling, sending confirmations, and gathering feedback.
* Provide administrative support as needed, such as creating reports and managing documentation.
Market Research
* Conduct research on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to stay updated on the job market.
* Provide insights to the Head of People & Culture on challenges or opportunities related to candidate availability and skill trends.
Compliance and Ethical Standards
* Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and ethical hiring practices.
* Respect data privacy regulations and ensure all candidate information is handled confidentially.
