My Client is recruiting for a Framework Manager in the Water Sector.
Location: Midlands - Birmingham or Derby (other Midlands locations considered)
Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers. It's an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Principal/Associate Framework Manager to join our Wastewater Team in Derby or Birmingham to lead one of our hydraulic modelling or MEICA frameworks, with a leading UK Water Company.
What you can bring:
1. Experience working in the UK water industry, with proven skills in growing and building strong relationships with clients.
2. Experience in managing projects, leading teams, and development of people.
3. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to have technical discussions with colleagues and clients in a logical and coherent manner.
4. Experience of hydraulic model build, verification, and solution development, including knowledge of the use of InfoWorks ICM, as well as GIS packages.
5. Relevant degree or vocational qualification.
6. Chartered with a relevant professional institution (i.e. ICE or CIWEM), would be advantageous.
Your purpose:
1. Leading a dynamic project delivery team, responsible for the successful delivery of one of our hydraulic modelling or MEICA frameworks.
2. The development of client relationships with our key Water Company and non-Water Company clients.
3. Project Management, including managing resources, budgets, and programmes and coordinating with other disciplines.
4. Project Management of DWMPs and other projects including Hydraulic Model Build and verification, Storm Water Management, SuDS, drainage, option development, SOAF, and WFD.
5. Driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
6. Development of tender responses and fee estimates.
