We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatients team within the world renowned St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery.
The department is the hub for the plastic surgery services across the region, with spoke clinics in other locations and both adult and children's trained nurses work alongside each other treating patients of all ages.
The work here is varied. In addition to providing clinical and administrative support for the consultants in their clinics, nurses are required to work in the minor operations theatre and in the nurse led dressings and hand clinic services. You may also sometimes be asked to work in a spoke site location. An interest in wound care is essential and candidates must have excellent organisational and communication skills and as an essential requirement for this post, must be able to drive.

To cover out-lying clinics at other sites.

- Liaising with multi disciplinary team (Hand Therapy and CNS's) in regards to patient care
- Covering outlying clinics ( at other sites), and other plastic surgery departments within the unit when service requires.
