LANX is a rapidly growing Lancashire-based footwear brand celebrated for its quality footwear for both men and women. Since its inception at a local market stall in 2018, LANX has witnessed remarkable growth. Boasting a dedicated team of 40+ staff and growing, participation in over 20+ major UK events annually, a store in Manchester’s bustling Northern Quarter, and official footwear supplier to some of the UK’s finest sports teams. LANX is on an ambitious path of further growth and is eager to expand the team with people that share our values and commitment to quality.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a talented individual to manage all the LANX partnerships with sports teams, people, companies, and brands. Must be enthusiastic about networking and driven to get the best out of each partnership and manage relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Existing sports team partnerships: manage our existing relationships with Welsh RU, Gloucester Rugby, Wigan Warriors, Sale Sharks, Harlequins, and more in the pipeline.
* New sports team partnerships: look for and negotiate more sports team partnerships with high-profile sports teams that align with the LANX brand.
* Celebrity endorsements: manage our existing relationships with paid celebrities from the world of sport and fashion and look for new faces to work with who align with the LANX brand.
* Fashion brand collaborations: manage our relationships with other brands - we are looking for 4 high-profile collaborations per year.
* Data acquisition: work with high-profile brands, hotels, and companies to share data and grow the LANX email database and social media followers.
* Manage budgets: astutely manage the budgets associated with each partnership sector - approximately £250-300k across all sectors.
* Liaise with the wider LANX team: to ensure we activate the partnerships correctly.
* Pitch new opportunities: for LANX to partner with a wide range of people, teams, and organizations - more ideas the better.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* 5+ years in a similar role.
* Very organized in all aspects of work.
* An in-depth knowledge of rugby.
* Experience managing creative teams and external agencies.
* Car and clean driving license.
* Ability to talk and negotiate on the phone.
* Creating clear briefs for others to follow.

WORKING DAY & HOURS:
* Full time
* Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5pm
PLACE OF WORK:
* LANX HQ, Whalley, BB7 9YE
* Remote working not available.
ANNUAL LEAVE:
* Permitted 28 days annual leave per year.
* Permitted a maximum of 5 days of annual leave in October each year.
* Due to an exceptionally busy trading period, not permitted to take annual leave in November, December, and the first 2 weeks of January.
* There may be a Christmas shutdown in December for all staff, for which annual leave must be used, dates tbc.
* Please note bank holidays are regarded as normal working days at LANX; however, staff may request these as annual leave.
MUST WORK:
* Annual Sample Sale Weekend - usually March, date tbc.
* 2 additional days around Black Friday - usually end of Nov.
* For the above additional days annual leave will be granted, or you can be paid 1.5 your normal day rate.
