Job Title: Locum Physiotherapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Luton Start Date: ASAP Duration : 2 months Working Pattern: Full-time & part-time accepted Remote Working: Hybrid working can be discussed Rate : £24:00 - £2:00 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our Community Intermediate Care and Reablement Service in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you will provide physiotherapy input to patients within the Reablement and Adult Social Care caseload, ensuring a high standard of care and support. Key Responsibilities? As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist You will assess and develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans for patients under the Reablement and Adult Social Care caseload. You will implement appropriate interventions to enhance patient mobility and independence. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and effective patient management. You will cross-prescribe when necessary and manage simple occupational therapy cases within your scope of practice. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and outcomes in line with professional standards. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives as needed. You will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and care options. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience in community physiotherapy and intermediate care is essential. Ability to cross-prescribe and manage simple OT cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
