We are looking for Radiographers with a commitment to outstanding patient care and high quality imaging to join our friendly and dynamic team at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
We have an X-ray equipment replacement programme underway. This is an excellent opportunity to be here at the inauguration.
Main duties of the job
You will undertake general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography examinations following departmental protocols, providing a high standard of imaging .
We are looking for good communicators with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team; someone with a proactive and flexible approach to provide the best care for our patients across the 24/7 service.

We are a busy Radiology Department who undertake examinations in a number of modalities, across 2 sites. The main facilities are Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital (BNHH) with satellite services at Alton Community Hospital.

Training and qualifications
Essential criteria
1. BSc or Diploma in Radiography
2. HCPC registration
3. Evidence that knowledge of general imaging is up to date
Desirable criteria
4. Experience in image interpretation
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
5. NHS experience as a radiographer or student radiographer
6. Demonstrate sound knowledge of radiographic procedures including IR(ME)R regulations
7. Computer literate
Desirable criteria
8. Experience in more than one hospital
9. Experience of working with students
Skills and ability
Essential criteria
10. Excellent written communication skills
11. Excellent verbal communication skills
