On the Parts Diploma pathway at Ben Burgess, you will work closely with experienced parts advisors, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the field of agricultural parts.
The Diploma is designed to equip you with the skills and expertise necessary to become a proficient parts advisor.
What you will learn:
On the parts diploma pathway, you’ll gain skills in maximising sales potential, processing parts orders for internal and retail customers, and mastering effective communication across various platforms. You’ll learn to identify components using electronic catalogues and participate in stock-taking and warehousing activities, while also supporting marketing campaigns and promotions.
How you will learn:
You will work at your chosen dealership with us, but also spend time at the John Deere Training Centre.
You are supported by your manager and mentor, gaining valuable workplace skills by undertaking practical tasks and experiencing real-life challenges.
The Parts Diploma pathway provides a structured and immersive learning experience, preparing your for a rewarding career in the agricultural industry.
What we look for:
Five GCSEs/predicted GCSEs at grade 5/C or above (including Maths, English, and Science).
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
You will be self-motivated; you know what you want and will work hard to get there with resilience when things get tough.
You will demonstrate the professional standards and core values we expect of our future employees.
