Main duties of the job We have exciting opportunities for Sisters / Charge Nurses to come and join our team across the Gastroenterology / Respiratory, General Medicine & Medicine for older people (MOP) specialties at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). We have permanent Sister / Charge Nurse roles on the following wards; D5 Respiratory, D9 Hepatology/Gastro, D10 Cystic Fibrosis, E7 General Medicine & Bassett Dementia ward - based at Princess Anne Hospital. What you'll do You will be acting as a role model for nursing staff, encouraging effective working relationships and the development of a cohesive nursing team. You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Sister in the management of the ward for a 24-hour period ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
