We are hiring experienced Senior Business Relationship Managers to join our Chief Data Office. You will be at the heart of the implementation of our Data Strategy, using data to deliver citizen services. You will work across DWP and across Government, reporting into the Head of Data Strategy.
This role is all about building trusted relationships and championing data to drive the development of data products and services provided by the Data Hub.

Experience in building and developing effective working relationship with senior business managers and data services that bring data and business working as one team.
Effective leadership and influencing skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills, in particular strong communication skills
Communicating/coaching technical issues to a non-technical audience. You can communicate between data specialists and business spokes to ensure alignment and understanding.
Ability to identify important stakeholders and communicate with them clearly and regularly tailoring communication to stakeholders' needs and work with them to build relationships. Whilst also meeting user needs, build and reach consensus, work to improve stakeholder relationships, using evidence to explain decisions made.
Ability to work within a strategic context and communicate how activities meet strategic goals and contribute to the development of strategy and policies.
Able to multi-task and prioritise competently and quickly, communicating complex decisions effectively and managing expectations.

As a Senior BRM, you will build long term and trusted relationships to shape the Data Hub's programme aligned to our Data Strategy.
You will promote data products and services, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders, as well as signposting to subject matter experts, removing any blocks and generally managing the expectations of your stakeholders.
Are you great at building networks and relationships that are big enough to get the job done?
You will need to be comfortable challenging and influencing your senior stakeholders. You'll share the information you've acquired - by understanding the needs of users, customers, suppliers and partners - with the people you know need it.
You'll have opportunity through on job training and options to undertake professional qualifications (ITIL 4 Business Relationship Management) to develop your service management and leadership skills. We will support your development as we expand our Business Relationship Management Team.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of £55,557.
