A global insurance firm is looking for a Senior Agile Coach to support their agile transformation journey moving from "Wagile" to a scaled agile framework (Spotify Model).
You will be responsible for coaching individuals and teams in business agility, primarily working with IT teams coaching from senior leadership to software engineers.
The programme has not started discovery, you will be joining Essential from day 1 which is a unique opportunity to influence and advise the foundation and delivery of the agility transformation.
Location: 3 days per week to City of London Office
Key Responsibilities:
* Observe squad team practices and coach on process improvements.
* Provide expert guidance to leaders and their teams on agile principles.
* Remove large-scale impediments to the flow of value.
* Drive the implementation of an agility roadmap and metrics.
* Conduct assessments to evaluate the maturity of Agile practices.
* Design and provide training to address Agile skill gaps.
Specialist Skills & Experience:
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Spotify Model)
* Must be hands-on, working closely with a variety of delivery and IT teams
* Coaching and mentoring skills.
* Skilled in facilitating workshops and training sessions.
* Conflict resolution and mediation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Continuous improvement and problem-solving abilities.
* Must have experience within Insurance (Retail or Commercial desirable)
